Cache la Poudre River at Little Narrows
These three pictures of the Cache la Poudre River were shot on May 28, 2014, at Little Narrows just next to the tunnel on highway 14. I used long exposure up to 3 seconds, so whitewater appears smooth and silky. However, it is a very big, turbulent snow melt flow with ~4000 cfs at the canyon mouth. Camera: Canon 5D Mark III with 24-105mm zoom lens.

6:30, August 5, 2006. 70+ hours in the Missouri River 340 race. Another beautiful, a little foggy, sunrise on the river. I am looking for a place to stop and call Connie, who is providing me with ground support.
River mile 76.5. A nice sandy beach. Obviously, a popular spot at the end of the Dundee Road.
The same old question is returning to me again and again. Should I photograph and show only nice pictures from my paddling?
